The View from the Hamster Habitat

The plastic hamster habitat shows a distorted view of life on the outside.

But it’s still intriguing.

The idea that there is more…anything…beyond what’s here.

The idea that maybe that tube will take me somewhere besides just to the other side of the habitat. “Like I haven’t figured that out,” he thinks.

The idea of running in a way that gets somewhere instead of running to stand still.

All that energy poured into a wheel that just goes round and round without taking that little bugger anywhere at all.
