A heavy sigh left my body as I prepared to get ready to leave the house and endure the morning commute. (Southern California traffic is my soul’s vampire.)
Then I looked up and saw the dawn breaking in the East. I have become accustomed to the subtle pastels of the light growing over the mountains; this morning though, was anything but subtle. The reds erupting in the east linked as if a rose garden was blooming all at the same time.
I tried to capture it with my phone’s camera, but I think that was was meant just for me.
Look up; the world is full of beauty.
